Hi there, I'm Kanishka.

Research and design have always felt like the same thing to me, just at different zoom levels. My goal is to keep asking the right questions, even the uncomfortable ones and build things that earn people's trust.

As a designer, I get energy from the messy middle, where user research meets interaction decisions and systems start to make sense. I care about products that feel considered, not just functional. Lately I've been deep in AI-driven workflows, thinking about how to make complex systems feel legible and human.

Outside of design, I'm a committed homebody who steps outside the moment Seattle decides to be sunny. I chase sunsets, walk new neighborhoods, rewatch This Is Us for the fifth time, and spend race weekends rooting for Red Bull. I grew up in Bangalore, studied design there, and followed curiosity all the way to the Pacific Northwest.
